Ms. Felicia, a New York native, moved to Easton PA, in 2016 where she continued pursuing her career in the arts. She has been teaching in the performing arts for over 10 years in NYC and now in PA. She teaches a variety of styles including but not limited to hip-hop, jazz, tap, and lyrical. Her specialities are in musical theatre, dramatic arts and vocal music. She studied at the College of Staten Island where she earned her BA in Dramatic Literature and Dramatic Arts. She then went on to pursue her Master’s Degree in Early Childhood and Childhood Education, both in Special Education and General Education. She has trained at Broadway Dance Center, working with a variety of world-renowned choreographers and performers. She is known for keeping her class’s fresh and full of energy, incorporating all different music of today to ensure an effective, fun, and educational environment for all students. At the young age of 18 she wrote, directed and choreographed her first solo community theatre production, which turned out to be a huge success. Most recently she has worked at Easton Arts Academy Elementary School as the Arts Coordinator, Asylum Dance Project in Bethlehem PA as a competitive and recreational instructor, soon to take on the role of Program Manger for their Breakthrough Competitive Team and Arts Academy Elementary School as an academic grade level teacher. She has written and developed curriculums for her previous schools and most recently wrote and developed the Musical Theatre Curriculum and English Scope and Sequence for Dr. Tom Lubben, founder of TLC arts. Ms. Felicia hopes to continue sharing her love and knowledge of dance and theatre with children for years to come. She believes that the performing arts molds creativity, confidence and a strong sense of self.
