Young Learners for Ages 2-5

Young Learners Preschool Program at Asylum Dance is a unique opportunity for preschoolers to learn important preschool targets through a creative arts curriculum. Program provides ballet, tap, jazz, tumbling and academic skills through an engaging curriculum.

Skill Introduction Ages 6-9

Skill Introduction Program is for dancers who have demonstrated an interest in dance and would like to move forward on a path that ensures technical skills are developed.  A minimum of two weekly technique classes are suggested. It is recommended that at least one class be a fundamental technique class (Ballet or Jazz). Skill introduction Program Class Pairing Examples include: Ballet and Jazz, Ballet and Acro, Jazz and Hip Hop, Acro and Jazz, etc.

Competitive Classes 6+

Our Performing Company is for Intermediate to Advanced Dancers Age 6 and up who are interested in enhancing their dance training through conventions, competitions, group dances, solos and duets. Company dancers attend weekly Ballet, Acro, Tap. elective classes, and all scheduled Performing Competition Rehearsals. Performance opportunities include all studio stage performances, and annual dance competitions. Audition required for performing company group dances, solos, duets, or trios.
