The "Mean Girls Jr" summer camp at Asylum Dance Project, directed by Miss Felicia Stone with vocal direction by Zach Bez, promises to be an exciting and engaging experience for young performers. With Miss Felicia's extensive background in directing musicals and her passion for the arts, participants can look forward to a camp filled with creativity, learning, and fun. “Dreamers” Dance Camp
Ages 4-7
August 19th - August 22nd
5:00 - 6:30 PM
Join our introductory program designed for young dancers eager to hit the big stage or simply explore various styles before making fall choices. If your child loves to dance and can't resist moving to music, this program is perfect for them. Our goal is to prepare our youngest dancers to shine like stars in a fun and safe environment. We're also excited to build our next competitive team, the "Dreamers"! There's no team obligation or commitment required to join the fun this summer with Miss Carrie.
Combo Dance Camp
Ages 3-9
The combo dance program for ages 3-5 at Asylum Dance Project is an introductory program that aims to prepare our youngest dancers to shine like stars in a fun and safe environment. This program is designed to introduce young dancers to the fundamentals of dance, including basic movement, coordination, and rhythm. Through creative and age-appropriate activities, participants will develop their motor skills, and confidence, setting a strong foundation for future dance education. The program focuses on creating a positive and supportive atmosphere where young dancers can explore their love for dance and express themselves creatively
1. Our Ballet Intensive will focus on refining classical ballet technique, including barre work, center work, and allegro.
2. The Contemporary Intensive will explore the expressive and dynamic movement vocabulary of contemporary dance. Dancers will work on developing their creativity and artistry through improvisation and choreography.
3. In the Musical Theatre Intensive, dancers will learn choreography inspired by Broadway shows, focusing on performance quality and storytelling through dance.
4.Our Jazz Intensive will focus on the energetic and stylized movement of jazz dance, including technique, turns, and jumps.
